Darryl James is a retired petroleum executive in the oil and gas industry. He earned a BS and MS in geology from Rutgers University before serving as Army Captain and combat helicopter pilot in Vietnam. He worked himself through Rutgers by playing guitar in a rock band on weekends. His books include the following: Phoenix 13 - a biography of piloting his scout helicopter during his yearlong tour in Vietnam. Penn and Sword released the book in January 2021. Prey of the Leopard - Leopard Series 1- a hi-tech military thriller featuring a KBG trained assassin, Dr. Olga Romanov, aka the Leopard.
