The illustrations in this book are adorable and fun to color! Very relaxing! Same kind of paper as previous Coco books so be sure to put paper behind the page you are coloring if you’re using markers.
Shading:
If you want to add shadows on top of the marker areas, the Prismacolor soft core pencil crayons work beautifully, but only after you let the paper dry completely first, otherwise you risk paper tearing.
Marker Blending:
Even though the paper is thin you can get away with 1 round of normal blending techniques with both alcohol and water based markers. More than one round though and the paper may start to give way.

Ohuhu alcohol markers
Kingart water based markers

Everything has worked beautifully even though the paper is not thick. In some respects I think the thinner paper provides an advantage to successfully achieving some of the shading and blending techniques because the paper has a smooth finish and is not toothy.
I own lots of Coco books and love coloring in them. Her illustration style is calm and friendly, making coloring in them a relaxing and enjoyable experience. There were only a few pages in this book that I personally wouldn’t find enjoyable to color, like the holiday themed pages (wish the holiday pages wouldn’t always be sprinkled in the non-holiday themed books), but they are easily removable. The other pages are absolutely amazing to color and you can tell much thought and care went into creating illustrations that would be fun to color while also helping to reduce stress.
Each little scene pulls you in and lets you escape into a peaceful little corner, as the title of the book suggests!

I purchased this coloring book because I enjoy coloring small details. Too much coloring on one thing can get boring, but I love this one for the many, different outlines to color! Not only is the coloring book detailed, but its title really does reflect the book - it brings you a cute and comfy vibe when coloring in it! I also appreciate the variety of pages it has too! Some coloring books give you minimal pages, but this one contains a bunch! I’m very satisfied with this purchase. I highly recommend if you’re contemplating which cute, coloring book to order!

Love this coloring book so much. I colored the first page with color pencils and it was great, but I saw so many beautiful pages of people who colored using markers and it was way more fun with the markers than with color pencils, but it’s a given that the markers will bleed through the paper, but I just put a sheet behind the page and it works fine. I just have to remember to move it where I do intend to color, or else it ruins the next page. So 4/5 bc I do think it would be nicer for the pages to be a bit thicker, but still love the designs and I can literally spend hrs coloring.

I really like it. I did not want something overly complicated. I wanted something easy and realxing, with fun images to color :) So this is exactly what i wanted, The pages are thin so it does bleed through. The book does recommend to put a sheet of paper behind it, which i did. Love it!!!!
