One of America's leading writers of real-life dramas, Morris has authored over 140 feature magazine articles and 15 books, including "Trapped in a Cave! A True Story" (Broadman & Holman); the "Real Kids, Real Adventures" book series (Putnam-Berkley); and "Teens 9-1-1" (HCI). Her work has been translated into as many as ten languages and featured in Reader's Digest, Family Circle, Good Housekeeping, Outdoor Life, Guideposts, and other publications. Morris co-produced two reality-based television movies: "Dancing in the Dark", a 1995 Lifetime Television Production starring Victoria Principal, and "Angel Flight Down", a 1996 ABC Production. She was Creator/Associate Producer of the Emmy-nominated "Real Kids, Real Adventures" TV series which aired in the U.S., Central & South America, and the Caribbean Islands on the Discovery Channel and in Canada and Europe on Global Television.
