WILLIAM DOLLARHIDE is best known as the co-author and cartographer of MAP GUIDE TO THE U.S. FEDERAL CENSUSES, 1790-1920 (with William Thorndale). The MAP GUIDE received an Award of Merit from the American Society of Genealogists (1987) and remains one of the best-selling and most-used genealogical reference books in America.
