Schuyler W. Huck

关于作者

Schuyler (Sky) Huck earned B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from DePauw University and Northwestern University, respectively. After receipt of his doctorate, Sky joined the faculty at the University of Tennessee’s main campus in Knoxville. At UT, he taught graduate-level courses, mentored advisees, wrote textbooks, and conducted research studies. Sky's success in these endeavors earned him a pair of coveted campus-wide titles: “Distinguished Professor” and “Chancellor's Teaching Scholar.” For one 12-month period, UT loaned Sky to the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. There, Sky's official title was “Distinguished Visiting Professor” (with a rank equivalent to that a full Colonel). Affiliated with the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership, Sky taught highly talented cadets and consulted with his faculty colleagues, all of whom were top-notch officers in the U.S. Air Force. In all realms of Sky’s work, his goal has been to help others become better people. This is especially true in the book Sky authored in 2022: GOLDEN ADVICE FROM GLOBAL ICONS: 135 Acclaimed Leaders and Legends Share Their Insights on How Best to Journey Through Life.
