Michal Sparks

Communicating with paints and brushes has been Michal Sparks' personal language since before she could speak. Educated in fine arts and textiles at the Kansas City Art Institute, Sparks worked in New York City as an art director in fashion and home furnishings and is currently creative director of her own company. Her easy watercolor style has become a best seller worldwide. Sparks has illustrated over 50 books, being also the author of fifteen of those, including best selling board book, My Very First Tea Party. Her art and illustrations can be found on children's books, The Tales of Buttercup Grove series, Reagandoodle & Little Buddy Welcome Baby and Home gift books such as The DIY Home Planner as well as throughout the home decor industry.
