John Legg

John Legg has published more than 70 books, most of them Westerns. An Air Force veteran, he has traveled much of the West. Until retiring from his “day job,” Legg spent almost 40 years as a newspaper copy editor mostly in Phoenix and Florida. He has a BA from William Paterson College (now University) in Wayne, N.J., and an MSJ from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Legg lives in the Phoenix area. He has two grown children and two grandsons.
