Although my current books are about online issues, my heart is in fiction and stories about Okinawa, Japan. I lived there from 1992-1995 and feel like it's my true home. When I moved back to the states, my life did a 360 and now my life is cybercrime. My latest book is Net Crimes & Misdemeanors 2nd Edition (netcrimes.net). My next book is due out in 2012 and titled True Crime Online: Most Shocking Stories from the Dark Side of the Web. I live in southern Maine with my husband and Siberian Husky, Phoebe, who is the mascot for my organization, Working to Halt Online Abuse - Kids/Teen Division (WHO@-KTD) at haltabusektd.org. She goes with me to middle and high schools to teach students how to stay safer online.
