Manning Rubin, who comes from a long line of writers, has spent most of his career writing in the communications and advertising business for major firms like Grey and J. Walter Thompson besides running his own movie advertising company. A Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Richmond, VA and Johns Hopkins, Manning recently retired from a leading ad agencyto write full time. His book "Keep Your Brain Alive" which he originated and developed with the late Lawrence Katz, is now in 24 languages. His previous book "60 Ways to Relieve Stress in 60 Seconds" was revised.. At his home in New York City, he's completed a novel Voyage To The Wall, based on his experiences in the Army In Germany during WWII . It starts immediately after VE Day and is based on tue experiences of his plus 10 years of research and remembering. As volunteer Creative Director for The Anti-Defamation League, he created and consulted on scores of public service ads for over 30 years to fight prejudice and hatred. He has all but lost his Charleston, SC accent.
