Jim Wilhoit

Jim Wilhoit taught at Wheaton College for four decades, primarily teaching courses on spiritual practices, including biblical meditation. He has seen firsthand how meditating on Scripture can be a means of receiving God’s restoring grace and renewing one’s thinking. He has written over a dozen books, including Spiritual Formation as if the Church Mattered (Baker), Abide: Putting Down Roots into the Word of Life (Kindle Direct), and, with Evan B. Howard, Discovering Lectio Divina: Bringing Scripture into Ordinary Life (IVP). He is an ordained Presbyterian minister (EPC) and serves as a spiritual director.
