Dr. H. Wayne House is Distinguished Professor of Theology, Law, and Culture at Faith International University and Seminary in Tacoma, Washington. He formerly was Professor of Constitutional Law at Trinity Law School and Professor of Theology and Culture at Trinity Graduate Schools, Trinity International University, Santa Ana, California, and Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at Dallas Theological Seminary. Professor House has a Bachelor of Arts in Classical and Hellenistic Greek from Hardin-Simmons University, Abilene, Texas, a Master of Arts in Biblical and Patristic Greek from Abilene Christian University, Abilene, Texas, a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Studies and a Master of Theology in Biblical Studies from Western Seminary, Portland, Oregon, a Doctor of Theology in Exegetical Theology from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri and a Juris Doctorate in Law from Regent University School of Law, Virginia Beach, Virginia. He also holds a certificate in International Human Rights from the famed International Institute of Human Rights, Strasbourg, France (Institut International des Droits de I’Homme). Dr. House was editor-in-chief of the law school journal, Journal of Christian Jurisprudence, and editor of the Journal of Christian Apologetics. Dr. House has been author, co-author, or editor of nearly forty books and author of more than one-hundred journal and magazine publications, and a contributor to several books, dictionaries and encyclopedias. Among his many books are Nelson Study Bible (NT editor); Nelson's Illustrated Bible Commentary (NT editor); The Battle for God; Charts on Open Theism and Orthodoxy; Charts of Apologetics and Christian Evidences; Charts of World Religions; Charts of Cults, Sects, and Religious Movements; A Christian View of Law; Restoring the Constitution; Israel: the Land and the People; Faithful Preaching: Preparing and Delivering Transformational Sermons; Intelligent Design 101; Reasons for Our Hope: An Introduction to Christian Apologetics; Doctrine Twisting: How Cults Distort the Bible; The Evangelical Dictionary of World Religions; Dictionary of Heresies and Heretics of Early Christianity (forthcoming), House’s Visual Study Bible (forthcoming) and is now publishing a variety of resources electronically with Olive Tree Bible Software for the iPad, iPhone, and a variety of PDAs, including Intelligent Design: A New Look at Evidence on Origins, America’s Christian History, Last Things: Four Views of Revelation, and The House Visual Study Bible. He is also General Editor of the Evangelical Exegetical Commentary, 44 vols. (Logos). Several projects are in final stage for future publication: Charting the New Testament; Charts of Patristic Theology; Archaeology of the New Testament; Biblical Covenantalism: An Interaction with Covenant Theology, Progressive Dispensationalism, and Progressive Covenantalism; Charts of Biblical Archaeology; and Charting the Old Testament. Dr. House was founding president of the Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood (CBMW), and serves on a variety of boards, including Evangelical Ministries to New Religions (EMNR), Intelligent Design and Evolution Awareness (IDEA Center), and Polynesian Missions. He is a past national president of the Evangelical Theological Society. He speaks and teaches on a variety of subjects such as archeology, apologetics, law, science, cultism, philosophy, theology, and biblical studies. In addition, he leads biblical study tours to Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Greece, Turkey and Italy. He is married to Irina House, and has two children and six grandchildren.
