Galen Gruman

Galen Gruman has written more than 30 books, on macOS/Mac OS X, the iPad, Windows 8, and desktop publishing software (iBooks Author, InDesign, QuarkXPress, and PageMaker). Gruman wrote the mobile and consumerization columns for InfoWorld in the first decade of the iPhone, and he was a pioneer in the use of personal computing and desktop publishing technologies in the mid-1980s and has covered and used all the major software in production environments ever since. In addition, he has been executive editor of Macworld, M-Business, InfoWorld, and Upside magazines, among other roles in high-tech publications. Gruman lives and works in the San Francisco Bay Area as a writer, editor, and consultant on high-tech and business issues.
