The critically acclaimed author of over twenty books, over ten on Madame Guyon, Nancy Carol James received her Masters of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary. She has a Ph.D. in Religious Studies with a specialty in Philosophical Theology from the University of Virginia with Carlos Eire as head. James teaches English and Writing at a local university and serves as an Episcopal priest in the Washington, D.C. and Fairbanks, Alaska areas. Nancy's latest book is a novel - "Father Luke's Journey Into Darkness" is topical and a good story! Also she published "Divine Love", are available on Amazon and features the first English translation of her collaboration to create emblems with Otto van Veen. Nancy's other books, available on Amazon, and feature the first English translations of many of Guyon's works. Her book, "I, Jeanne Guyon" is at Christian bookstores, on Amazon and from Seed Sowers. Her book, "The Soul, Lover of God", the first complete english translation of Guyon's enthralling work is on Amazon. She also published "The Developing Schism Within the Episcopal Church, 1960-2010" from Edwin Mellen Press. She has two historical books on Madame Guyon: "The Complete Madame Guyon" from Paraclete Press, and "Bastille Witness: The Prison Autobiography of Madame Guyon" (with Sharon Dahlgren Voros) both of which continue her unique research and writing on the life and theology of the 17th century French mystic Madame Jeanne Guyon.
