Sören Eberhardt’s two passions are literature and language.
In the 1990s he published several works on literature of the fin de siècle, mostly on the Austrian author Beer-Hofmann. (These publications are available in German only.) He also published a novel, a short story and, no kidding, a collection of meat poems, based on super market advertising that he created in the late 1990s.
Since 1997 he has been working in the translation/localization industry where he has released products in more than 50 languages. Today he is an International Project Manager at a Fortune 500 company. His passion for language(s), the fact that he minored in linguistics and his love for trivia made him write “The Little Book of Languages” while he was working on getting a software product translated for Azerbaijani, Belarusian and other languages for the first time.
