Susan Ko has been involved in faculty development for online and blended teaching since 1997 and has been responsible for training thousands of faculty at a variety of institutions and organizations. She is not only the author of Teaching Online: A Practical Guide, a leading book in the field now in its 4th edition from Routledge, but also serves as series editor for that publisher’s Best Practices in Online Teaching and Learning book series. She holds a doctorate from Yale University in East Asian Languages and Literatures and has years of experience teaching the humanities, world literature, and Asian Studies via both traditional and online formats.
