Kevin Patton is an award-winning anatomy & physiology (A&P) professor with more than four decades of experience at high school, community college, and university levels. Kevin has authored several award-winning A&P textbooks and reference works. He is a President Emeritus of the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society (HAPS) and was the founding director of HAPS Institute, a continuing education program for A&P professors. Patton serves as the immediate Past President of the Textbook & Academic Authors Association (TAA) Board of Directors. Dr. Patton recently retired from teaching undergrad A&P and mentoring/training A&P professors in a graduate program. Kevin hosts blogs, websites and The A&P Professor podcast related to teaching and learning. And in his youth, Patton was a wild animal trainer, befriending many lions, tigers, leopards, and more.
