Wen Spencer is an internationally best-selling American science fiction and fantasy writer. She was born in Evans City, Pennsylvania and attended the University of Pittsburgh. In 2003, she was awarded the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer.
Wen has toured much of the world, even living in Japan for short period of time. She lived in Pittsburgh and Boston-area before moving to Hawaii. She lives on the Big Island in the small town of Hilo. It sits on the flank of the world’s largest volcano, Mauna Loa. The world’s most active volcano, Kilauea, is a short drive away.
