Juris Doctor, Graduate of the University of Georgia, Class of 1988, Order of the Barrister My name is Neal Bevans and I have been an attorney since 1988. As an Assistant District Attorney, I tried more than 150 jury trials and have prosecuted every type of crime you can imagine including arson, rape, murder and many others. I have also argued a case before the Georgia Court of Appeals. I have taught criminal justice and paralegal courses for over twenty years and was awarded Teacher of Excellence in 2010. I have been lucky enough to get thirteen legal textbooks published. All of my textbooks are about legal issues and I have worked very hard to make difficult legal issues easier to understand. Try them out and see. You might even discover that law isn't as difficult as a lot of other books make it seem. I am a cancer survivor (pancreatic) and volunteer in the cancer community. I am fluent in Spanish and conversational in Italian, German and French. I also work with Habitat for Humanity and must have some invisible sign in my yard that only stray dogs and cats can see. At one point we had five dogs and six cats. If you're interested in my other writing, please visit my web site: www.nealbevans.com
