Kate Jerome is an accomplished publishing executive and an award-winning children’s book author who has been positively influencing younger generations for decades. Her unique perspectives and original voice can be found in hundreds of children's educational and trade books in many different series.
In 2015 Kate was invited to join Stanford University's inaugural Distinguished Careers Institute. Both a year of study as a DCI Fellow and her affiliation with Stanford's Center on Longevity re-energized her dedication to sparking meaningful conversations between generations. As a result, Kate recently Co-founded Little Bridges, a company that produces high-quality activity kits for kids and their favorite adults. Kate serves as an active mentor for many organizations, including Eldera and the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program. She is also a Program Advisor to Reading Partners and an Emeritus Board member of the South Carolina Aquarium.
