Jonathan Noble is Formula One Editor of Motorsport dot com, the world’s biggest independent motorsport website. His sports journalism career began during university when he won the prestigious Sir Williams Lyons Award for aspiring young writers - after interviewing a then relatively unknown David Coulthard. After graduating from Sussex University he joined news agency Collings Sport, helping cover Formula One, football and rugby for a host of newspapers and agencies, including The Daily Telegraph, Reuters and The European. He then moved to Autosport Special Projects in 1999, with one of his tasks being to edit the company's excellent Grand Prix Review. In 2000 he became Autosport magazine’s Grand Prix editor, and in 2004 he switched to the Autosport website. In 2015 he was hired by Motorsport and he helped play a key role in establishing it at the top of the rankings. He helped write the original Formula One Racing for Dummies book in 2003, as well as its long-overdue second edition in 2023
