Ron Baird

Ron Baird is a retired award-winning journalist. He is the author of Dark Angel, a mystery and a sequel: Black Wind, Trafford Publishing, 2009. He’s also written Fishing Colorado; A Falcon Guide, 2002, 2006 and Fly Fishing the Four Seasons in Colorado , Lyons Press, 2011. He is married to Nancy Morrell, and they live in the foothills of Boulder, Colorado. He has worked as a legal investigator, truck driver, construction laborer, logger, journalist, researcher on cutthroat trout protection, a fishing columnist. His hobbies are fly fishing, writing fiction and fishing guides, which, some have observed are genres with a lot in common. He has a beautiful daughter, Aurora, two beautiful granddaughters, Payton and Logan, a handsome grandson Brody, who got his first fishing vest at 2 years of age. His son-in-law is Jason Jones. He is currently at work on the third book in the Aaron Hemingway series: Cottonmouth. which splits the action between Jack Springs, CO and Mountain Springs, AR. Both are small mountain towns.
