Back when Ike was president and most six year-old boys were reading Tom Swift books, I was reading the tarot cards and stars. I grew up in the boondocks of Michigan with grandma --my beloved astrology teacher. She, a well-respected psychic, whose clients included both farmer's wives as well as political glitteratti, taught me how to interpret birth charts, converse with nature spirits, eat healthfully, and predicted that "this"--not journalism, as I had thought-- would be my future career.
At age 11, I began writing daily astrology articles on her ancient Smith-Corona. It was hard work but, certainly, more fun than a paper route!?? At age 14, I earned my Social Security card, and began seeing clients professionally.
In my freshman year at MSU, I became America's first-ever professor of college-accredited courses in astrology, the tarot cards and palmistry. During the mind-blowing 1960-70s, I joined the esoteric jet-set?? teaching at metaphysical conferences around the world.
After returning from Japan, studying the age-old philosophy of Feng Shui and a yummy melange of eastern predicting methodologies, I set up shop in a lovely, artsy Michigan town (where I currently reside) as a researcher-consultant in human potential. Subsequently, I've written over two dozen books and prediction calendars, was ongoing guest for many nationally-syndicated television chat-shows, starred in the award-winning Thank Your Lucky Stars for ABC-radio for over 9 years, and dubbed the Motor City's "Best Astrologer," "Best Tarot Card Reader," and "Detroit's Most Accurate Psychic" by ABC-tv.
In 2001, I put aside globe-trotting and media-work, and returned to writing. And, gardening. And, dancing with my darling cat. I'm very grateful for my handful of truly brilliant friends who take turns pulling my head from out of clouds to enjoy food, laughs, and garage sales.
In-between writing deadlines, I conduct both online (I love my Mac!) and phone intuitive-astro consults.
I was born on the nineteenth of November 1950. I dream of flowers and gardening almost every night, love decorating and Feng Shui, adore cooking, and relax by painting furniture and coloring photographs. I live for peace.
