Writing about food has been my life and remains my passion. Especially true Texas cuisine. I'm a native Texan who cares deeply about tradition, sustainability and regional cuisines. A career as food editor and restaurant critic at The Dallas Morning News gave me the opportunity to travel the U.S. and the world to learn about food far beyond my city and state. I'm an international citizen of the food world firmly rooted in Texas.
