Ken Ramirez is a veteran science teacher who lives in the Sierra foothills of California. Vivid imagery, positive messages, humor and creativity fills Ken's stories. As a Humboldt State University graduate holding two science degrees and a minor in art, Ken draws from both sides of his brain to create his stories. Inspired by his daughters, he found that writing created a wonderful escape into the world of imagination. Ken's YA novels include: 'The Naida's Quest Trilogy' (Gift of the Ancient Grove, Beyond the Red Mountains, The Hidden Forest), 'Valley of the Raven', and 'You, Me, Naideen, and a Bee'.
