I live in central Maine and spend the fall in northern Maine, hunting. I love Maine and the freedom it affords me to go into the wilderness. I feel free when I am in the woods. My wife, Lisa Levinson, is also a woods buff and frequently accompanies me on my journeys. I have two dogs that love the woods, too, Frannie and Chloe. I went to Princeton, Class of 1976. I am a Master Maine Guide and I write a column for the Northwoods Sporting Journal. I am also an avid fan of sporting clays, the shotgun game. I am 56 years old and also enjoy fishing and snowshoeing. Once upon a time I worked as a reporter and columnist for the New York Daily News, but have lived in Maine now for more than 25 years. I grew up in Chappaqua, New York and graduated from Horace Greeley High School in 1972. I have also spent time as a reporter in Northern Ireland, during the troubles. My favorite author is Haruki Murakami. My favorite restaurant is Primo in Rockland, Maine and naturally, I love to eat lobster. But my favorite food is pa'tridge, also known as ruffed grouse.
