Wes Henricksen is an Associate Professor of Law at Barry University, where he teaches and writes about constitutional law. His scholarly work focuses on the intersection of disinformation and the First Amendment. He received his J.D. from the University of Washington in Seattle, where he served as an executive editor of the Washington Law Review. He is admitted to practice law in California, the District of Columbia, and Florida. Prior to becoming a professor, he worked at law firms in San Diego and Miami for ten years, and served as a judicial law clerk at the U.S. District Court in Puerto Rico. A former Division I collegiate ice hockey player, Professor Henricksen has worked, lived, or studied in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, and Peru, and he is fluent in Spanish. He was born and raised in Spokane, Washington, and now lives in Miami, Florida.
