Maurice Robinson was transferred from Richmond, Virginia to Ponte Vedra beach, Florida, in 1993, as an accountant with CSX Corporation. He retired in 2003 after thirty-five years. Born in Virginia, and holds a bachelor's degree from Virginian Commonwealth University and has completed classes at the University of North Florida. His interests focus on North Florida and expecially the First Coast topics in St. Johns County, Florida. He now resides with his wife in Historic Midlothian, Virginia. Ponte Vedra Beach is very historic area in North Florida. Along with Ponce de Leon landing on its shore in 1513, it is the home to two Sports, golf and tennis,while the others are located in New York. Many other happening in this beautiful resort ocean-side area.
