"The Oregon Territory" - Book 3 - the concluding novel in "The Return of Travis Walker" trilogy is now available.
LATEST RELEASE: "The Oregon Territory" - Book 3 - "The Return of Travis Walker"
"The Return of Travis Walker" trilogy is a journey through the spring and summer of 1832, in the days of the Mountain Men. Three men, unknown to each other, who's lives have been severely altered by the murderous crimes of other men, come together to render justice on the men who tore their lives apart.
Their quest takes them on a man hunt from St. Charles, Missouri, through the Rocky Mountain wilderness, to the British held Oregon Territory. Overcoming challenges and obstacles along the way, they dispense justice to the murderers as they advance.
SEAVER AND LONG RIDER - The series is set in the 1870's, and revolves around the actions of Jack Seaver, and his partner, Long Rider, an Absaroke, former Indian scout for the army. The stories are interconnected, so you need to read them in order to understand the comments, needling between the two men, and the back stories of each.
As with all my novels, the stories are historically accurate. They include my usual twists and turns, (you think you figured it out, but then it swerves off onto a different fork in the road), interlaced with humor, good guys, bad guys, and as always, there is no foul language, or off-colored scenes, and the good guys always win in the end.
Thank you for reading,
Dave

Dave P. Fisher is a life long westerner who has spent half his lifetime as a working cowboy, rodeo rider, bronc buster, horsepacker, beaver trapper, and guide. His adventures on the back of a horse have taken him from the wilds of Alaska to Oregon, and all through the Rocky Mountains.
His novels are steeped in historical accuracy from in-depth research and traveling the very ground, and historic places, where many of his stories take place. Dave frequently reflects the stories his father, born in 1905, told him of the old days, and the stories old timers he worked with told him about how it really was in the Old West.
