Jeff Burbank

Jeff Burbank is an award-winning journalist, veteran news editor, newspaper and wire service reporter, public radio commentator, author of five books, university lecturer in English and journalism and museum researcher and content writer. He holds a B.A. degree from U.C. Berkeley and a M.A. from American University. He grew up in California and has resided in Las Vegas, Nev. for more than 20 years.

He has written five books, including License to Steal: Nevada’s Gaming Control System in the Megaresort Age, Lost Las Vegas, Las Vegas Babylon, Historical Photos of Las Vegas and Historical Photos of Salt Lake City.

He has published news stories in the London Daily Mail, The Washington Post, New York Daily News, Los Angeles Times, Hartford (Conn.) Courant, San Francisco Chronicle, Boston Globe, Las Vegas Review-Journal, Las Vegas Sun, Las Vegas Business Press Reno (Nevada) Gazette-Journal.
