Mindy Dwyer

Mindy Dwyer is an illustrator and author of children's books. She is the recipient of "Not Just For Kids Anymore Award" from the Children's Book Council, a National Parenting Publication Award, a Young Readers Choice Award, and has two books in translation. Born in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania, Mindy left the valley of steel mills to go north.With her family of three kids, fisherman husband and Ruby the sled dog, they lived a life found only in fairy tales. You'll find her now in the Pacific Northwest in a handmade cedar house by the sea, painting pictures, picking berries, and keeping time on the stand up bass.
