I've published two poetry collections, Taking the Occasion (winner of the New Criterion Poetry Prize) and What More?, as well as a critical book, Subjects in Poetry (LSU Press). I hold a Masters in Musicology from Cornell University, and taught music history, theory, and appreciation at Cornell and Dartmouth College. I've published two audio-visual eBooks on music: Why Bach?: An Audio-Visual Appreciation (winner of Digital Book World's Best Book-Fine Arts award), and Bach, Beethoven, Bartok: Confluence in Music. Both are available at Amazon. My website is danielbrownpoet.com .
