David Steidel

Dave Steidel developed his passion for the American Football League in its first season. Since then he has been an avid fan and historian of the league and wrote 'Remember The AFL' because in his words "Every book I ever read about the AFL left me wanting more... so I set out to write the book I always wanted to read." This book is an invitation to savor the past, offering a chance to travel back in time, revisit your youth and feast on its memories. In November 2015 Dave's new book "The Uncrowned Champs - How the 1963 San Diego Chargers Would Have Won the Super Bowl" was released. The book follows the Chargers through their Championship season as well as a computer simulated Super Bowl I game against the NFL Champion Chicago Bears.
