Corinne McKay

Corinne McKay is an ATA-certified French to English translator specializing in international development, corporate communications/content marketing, and non-fiction books. Her translation of Erhard Loretan and Jean Ammann's "Night Naked: A Climber's Autobiography" was shortlisted for the 2017 Boardman Tasker Prize for Mountain Literature. Corinne has been a full-time freelancer since 2002, and in addition to her own translation work, she writes books and teaches courses for other freelance translators. Her book, How to Succeed as a Freelance Translator, has become a go-to reference for the industry, with three editions and over 10,000 copies in print. Corinne has blogged at ThoughtsonTranslation.com since 2008, and her blog won the 2016 ProZ.com community choice award for best blog about translation.
