Jon Nelson is an award-winning television journalist for more than thirty years based in Atlanta. He graduated from Lakeside High School in Atlanta and Florida State University with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Political Science. He has also covered high school athletics for Georgia Public Broadcasting for twenty-nine seasons as a host and correspondent for its high school coverage. He is the author of six books about high school and college football in the southeast. He lives in suburban Atlanta with his far-more-pretty wife, Patty, and their furry child- Rowdy, the Pekingese--- What would you do if you were faced with one of the largest challenges of your life?
