Joshua Marie Wilkinson

Born and raised in Seattle, Joshua Marie Wilkinson is the author of the novel Trouble Finds You (Fonograf 2023) as well as eight books of poetry, including Meadow Slasher (Black Ocean 2017) and Swamp Isthmus (Black Ocean 2013). His work has been published in Poetry, Tin House, The Believer, Iowa Review, and widely anthologized. He is also the editor of five anthologies, including Poets on Teaching (University of Iowa Press 2010) and Anne Carson: Ecstatic Lyre (University of Michigan Press 2015). With Solan Jensen he directed a tour documentary about the band Califone: Made a Machine by Describing the Landscape (IndiePix 2011). With Lisa Wells and Mark Levine, he is series editor of Kuhl House Poets for University of Iowa Press. Wilkinson lives in Portland, OR, where he works as a psychotherapist.
