Sovaida Ma’ani Ewing is is the founder and director of The Center for Peace and Global Governance (CPGG), a virtual think tank and online forum that pools and proposes principled solutions to pressing global problems through publications, podcasts, lectures, workshops and targeted consulting (http://cpgg.org). She is an international lawyer with eighteen years of experience in private and government practice both in England as a barrister-at law and the United States as a licensed attorney. She is the author of “Collective Security Within Reach” (2008), “Building a World Federation: The Key to Resolving Our Global Crises” (2015), "Bridge to Global Governance: Tackling Climate Change, Energy Distribution, and Nuclear Proliferation (2018), and "The Alchemy of Peace: 6 Essential Shifts in Mindsets and Habits to Achieve World Peace" (2021). She is also a co-author of "Laws of the Kitab-i-Aqdas (2004). She maintains a blog at http://collectivesecurity.blogspot.com that discusses current global issues and proposes principled solutions to them. Sovaida Ma’ani Ewing was born in Kenya, spent several years attending school in Haifa, Israel, lived in the UK for nine years where she became a barrister-at-law and subsequently moved to the United States where she has lived for almost 28 years.
