José-Antonio Orosco

José-Antonio Orosco is Professor of Philosophy at Oregon State University, where he teaches classes in political philosophy. His work focuses on theories of democracy in multicultural societies, as well as Latinx and Latin American thought. He is an avid science fiction fan, particularly of Star Trek, and studies the way sci-fi narratives can help train our imagination to envision alternative futures for a more just and humane society.
