Brian Daccord is a worldwide leader and innovator in goaltending development. He has served as Goaltending Coach of the Boston Bruins, Goaltending Scout for the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Director of Goaltending Development for the Arizona Coyotes. His coaching resume includes a six-year stint with Adler Mannheim in the German DEL and he has coached in the NCAA for Merrimack College and St Anselm College. Currently, the goaltending coach at Boston University, Brian played professionally for seven seasons in the Swiss NLA and he holds a Master’s Degree in Sports Science Brian began building his private development company and 22 years later Stop It Goaltending is one of the most respected goalie schools in the world training over 1,000 goalies annually across Massachusetts. Brian is the author of "How to be a Goalie", “How to be a Goalie Parent” and “Hockey Goaltending”. He has appeared as a guest on top hockey podcasts as well as a keynote speaker at hockey symposiums both live and virtually. He created the goaltending scouting app called SIG Game Day, which allows goaltenders to be evaluated free of bias and subjectivity. He also played a key role is developing drills and curriculum for Sense Arena, a leader in virtual reality training. Brian lives in North Andover, MA with his wife Daniela and sons Joey and Alex. Joey graduated from Arizona State University and is currently under contract with the Seattle Kraken. Alex recently graduated from St. Anselm College in Manchester NH with a double major in finance and business and received the 7th Player Award as a senior goaltender.
