I'm a reader, and have loved books my entire life. I think I wrote my first short story at the age of nine or ten. I don't remember what I called the piece, but I do remember that it was about a little girl who played one too many practical jokes -- a little girl like me. My first published book, "At Last," was written during a time when I'd been laid off and decided to take the plunge and not look for another job until I'd completed the book. It's still a reader favorite. I've written several books in several genres since "At Last," and hope to continue with the output for many more years to come.
