Sidura Ludwig

Sidura Ludwig was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in 1976. She has wanted to be a writer since she could hold a pen. In 1994 she won the Canadian Author and Bookman scholarship for most promising writer. Her first book, Holding My Breath, was published in 2007 in Canada (Key Porter Books), the UK (Tindal Street Press) and the US (Shaye Areheart Books). It was nominated for the Carol Shields Winnipeg Book Award. Her second book, You Are Not What We Expected, comes out May 2020 with House of Anansi Press. Sidura has lived in Toronto, Ottawa, and Birmingham, UK. She currently lives in Thornhill, Ontario with her husband and three kids.
