David Bainbridge is a vet and reproductive biologist at Cambridge University whose interests have often extended into that weirdest species of all, humans. His books cover topics including pregnancy, the evolution of the brain, the art of anatomy, the genetics of sex, the evolution of teenagers, and the function of middle age. All human life is here, but often seen from an unorthodox viewpoint.
