Former war reporter and documentary director, founding member and President of the French Institute of Research on Extraordinary Experiences (INREES) Stéphane Allix became interested in the question of the after-life after the death of his brother in Afghanistan. He has written several book that became best-sellers, including The Test.
He created and currently hosts Enquêtes Extraordinaires, a documentary series on French television channel M6.
