Pete McCormack

Pete McCormack is a multi-award winning director, writer, producer and musician. His documentary Facing Ali was Oscar short-listed. Pete created, wrote and directed the acclaimed HBO Canada documentary series Sports on Fire. Pete has also written several produced screenplays. Pete's novel Understanding Ken was nominated for the prestigious Stephen Leacock Award for Humour and was a top-ten book of the year in Canada. His newest novel is the YA/Sci Fi/Fantasy epic My Last Friends on Earth. He is currently directing a film on the life of former Heavyweight Champion Smokin' Joe Frazier. Pete has two CDs on Spotify and recently released the non-fiction titles Hey, Wirter and Hey, Songwriter, to inspire other writers and dreamers.
