Jeffrey Scott learned the animation business working directly under Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera, founders of Hanna-Barbera Studios. He has written hundreds of animated and live-action TV and film scripts for ABC, CBS, NBC, Hanna-Barbera, Marvel, Nickelodeon, Sesame Workshop, Sony, Warner Bros., Disney, Universal, Paramount and Columbia. Jeffrey has written and produced film and television projects with Jim Henson, Sherry Lansing, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Stephen J. Cannell, Peter Roth, Stan Lee, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Stevie Wonder and others. He wrote the world’s first stereoscopic 3-D animated feature, Starchaser: The Legend of Orin and co-created Jim Henson's Muppet Babies for which he received 3 Emmys and the Humanitas Prize. He is the grandson of Moe Howard of The Three Stooges and son of producer-director-artist, Norman Maurer, inventor of 3-D comic books. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UCLA with a major in Motion Pictures & Television and is author of the acclaimed book, How to Write for Animation.
