Nancy Mohrbacher

Nancy Mohrbacher creates innovative lactation education and tools used by parents and professionals worldwide. Her books for parents include Breastfeeding Made Simple: Seven Natural Laws for Nursing Mothers (with Kathleen Kendall-Tackett), Breastfeeding Solutions, and Working and Breastfeeding Made Simple. Her YouTube channel is viewed by millions, and her Breastfeeding Solution app is used internationally. Her books for lactation specialists include Breastfeeding Answers, Second Edition, a comprehensive, evidence-based reference and its Pocket Guide. Nancy is a lifelong Illinois native, born and raised in the Chicago area. She nursed her three sons, who are now grown, and has three grandchildren. She began helping nursing families as a peer supporter in 1982. Board-certified as a lactation consultant in 1991, in 2008 the International Lactation Consultant Association officially recognized Nancy's lifetime contributions to the field by awarding her the designation Fellow of the International Lactation Consultant Association (FILCA).
