Bob Rognlien is an experienced pastor, church consultant, conference speaker, archaeological guide, and published author. His passion is illuminating the ancient Way of Jesus to equip leaders to multiply missional disciples who are empowered to change the world. For nearly 30 years he has been leading people to the Holy Land on unique spiritual pilgrimages in the historical footsteps of Jesus and Paul.
A graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, Bob has also carried out post-graduate studies at the Ecole Biblique et Archeologique in Jerusalem. Over the past 30 years he has served as a church leader in northern and southern California, as well as New Jersey and Jerusalem. Bob is the author of Recovering the Way, A Jesus-Shaped Life, Empowering Missional Disciples, The Experiential Worshiper, and Experiential Worship.
Bob is the Founder and Director of the Footsteps Experience movement, serves as Director of 3DM West, and spends his summers writing at the family cabin on Flathead Lake in Montana. When he is not leading trips in the Middle East or writing books in Montana, he lives in Los Angeles where he loves to surf, ski, sail, backpack, cook, read, and watch movies.
