Carolyn Cinami DeCristofano

Carolyn grew up exploring the beach, the woods, or a local pond--and poking her nose in many a book. No wonder she ended up becoming a museum-based educator, STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) curriculum developer, and non-fiction author in these fields! Her books are known for lively, vivid metaphors and humor that help make challenging concepts accessible to a wide range of audiences. They have earned national recognition. Her author visits extend the literacy experience with dynamic, creative, and interactive programs. Carolyn lives in Massachusetts with her husband Barry, an avid amateur astronomer and professional engineer and educator. She enjoys learning, traveling, cat-watching, cooking, and knitting, and is slowly learning to play the ukulele.
