Mari Perron is the author of numerous inspired works, including notably A Course of Love (ACOL). Listening devotedly to the words of Jesus, themes of unity and relationship, dialogue, creativity, the role of the personal, and wholeheartedness are developed. On completion of ACOL, Mari found herself in a strange position. Much of what the call to love was asking was so new that it was startling. In a spiritual atmosphere where the “self” was often seen as an ego to be rid of, she welcomed people starving for “the real” of personal, intimate relationships. This is what her work encourages. The interconnectedness of all things becomes a new path of discovery and diversity. With no hierarchy, relationship between loving equals, feminine and masculine, human and divine arises, and union between authentic, individuated beings can occur joyfully. All of Mari’s books focus on restoring the sacredness of the personal, the renewal of the divine feminine, and the creation of The New. Through a unique blend of spiritual receivership and personal sharing, Mari breathes new life into what it means to be human, whether through her sharing with Jesus, her dialogues with Mary of Nazareth or her more personal works like The Given Self and Creation of the New. Building upon the “way of Mary,” first introduced in A Course of Love as “the way of creation” and a representation of “incarnation through relationship,” these dialogues with Mary of Nazareth invite each of us to awaken our feminine hearts, express who we truly are and birth the New. Mari’s work, timely and relevant to our swiftly changing world, serves a powerful lodestar amidst our collective transformation. Beyond the words, there lies the compassionate reality of The New that is dawning in our hearts. Mari’s writing illumines this space that we share and reveals it as the content of our truest selves.
