Ronald Weber is Professor Emeritus of American Studies at the University of Notre Dame. His books include histories, literary studies, and novels. His essays and short stories have appeared in Antioch Review, Virginia Quarterly Review, Cimarron Review, Georgia Review, South Atlantic Review, The Critic, and Short Story. He lives in Valparaiso, Indiana.
