Teaching math in an urban school of Los Angeles for several years, I am aware of significant differences between math students here and the students I taught for many years in Asia. The students in my classroom here come from different countries all over the world with widespread differences in their academic achievement. Many have difficultd in comprehending simple math concepts. I wrote and published " A-Plus Notes Math Series " following the same pattern of the math books used in the schools in Asia. This pattern has been proved as excellent for student-learning. Each math book provides a clear summary and outline beginning with concepts, definitions, formulas, theorems, followed by well-designed examples which illustrate the summary. Each book provides students with a useful guide for review and further study.
